The Full Story

​My journey with food started as a little girl, stealing sweets out my mother's pantry in the middle of the night. My obsession with food krept up on me in my final year of high school and I decided to dive deep in the arts of culinary excellence. I studied the culinary world for three years and worked in two restaurants that shaped me into the chef I am today. Still so hungry for knowledge on food I set out on many adventures around a province that is rich in diverse cultures. The western cape has opened my eyes to forming connection through food and understanding that food celebrates history, love and most importantly, flavour. This blog is a guide to hidden gems, popular restaurants, local cuisine restaurants that all create a large community of celebrating hospitality within the Western Province.
